TOMORROW is our 100th FIT day - so for all of you that kept with us throughout the challenge, well done! You will do your final measurements on Wednesday morning and hopefully you will, like me, have achieved your goal.

When I started out, my goal was to get back into a healthy lifestyle, fuelled by regular exercise and healthy eating. I also wanted to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 65kg. I am happy to say that I have succeeded on both counts. I dropped 11kg - which is about 24lbs, I feel great, I can fit into my old clothes and I feel like I am in control of my life again.

So, what's next, you might ask. Now that we have achieved our goals, what now? Well, for me, it is more of the same, the only difference is that I won't be taking pictures of everything I eat to post on the blog. But I will continue to exercise 4-5 times a week and eat clean. So, I hope, will you.

After a long stint of hard exercise, it is good to give yourselves a bit of a rest. Not a break from exercising, but a change of tempo. On the facing page, you will see Siobhan doing exercises with a trigger point foam roller. I very rarely recommend products but for any of you interested in continuing living the fit lifestyle with us, it would be worth your while putting this on your Christmas list.

I bought mine four years ago for about €60 - I use the small orange one, the same as the one in the pictures, and I have used it at least five times a week ever since. I roll out my muscles at night time while I am watching TV.

I find it absolutely brilliant for releasing tension from my back after a long day hunched over a keyboard, or for loosening tight quads before a workout.

Lots of athletes use foam rolling - David Beckham is a big fan. Siobhan explains the science behind it below.

Next week, there will be another set and then we will be moving on to exercises that you can do at home with dumbbells and kettlebells. That will take us up to Christmas.

So the point is, now that the 100FITdays is over, Siobhan and I will continue to challenge you. We want to bring you further with your workouts. We want to help you learn more about the amazing things your body can do for you if you look after it. We want to show you how fitness enhances your life and enables you to unlock the best of yourself.

So please, let us know what we can do to serve you better. And send us in your 100FITdays experiences - did you lose the weight, did your fitness improve, did your life improve? We have some great prizes for the most inspirational 100FITdays stories.
