After 20 years in front of the camera, model Jodie Kidd has turned her hand to designing.
The 36-year-old has collaborated with Irish brand Green Lamb for a new collection of performance clothing.
Green Lamb, which has been producing sportswear for ladies since 1989, enlisted the British supermodel for the collaboration as they noticed a gap in the market for a range that was both functional and fashionable at an affordable cost.
“Almost everything that was available was either from very large sportswear brands or expensive luxury brands, with very little in between,” Marketing Director Peter Dwyer said. “Our collection aims to fill that gap in the market.”
The brand was developed specifically to appeal to fashion conscious consumers who demand high performance clothing that can take them directly from their fitness class to coffee with friends, without changing.
“The Green Lamb designers are young women who work out just as I do and like a lot of women today they insist on looking stylish when doing it,” the statuesque model added.
After taking some time out from posing, Jodie made her return to the spotlight last year and is enjoying being back in front of the camera.
Last year, she said "I do" to ex-soldier David Blakeley, and along with her three-year-old son Indio from a previous relationship, she is enjoying married life.
