It's back! Ireland's most gruelling fitness challenge 'Tough Mudder' returns

The challenging test, deemed the "toughest event on the planet’ is back this July.

Tough Mudder is back for a second year, taking place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2015.

The gruelling team-orientated race will be held in Loughcrew Adventure Centre, Oldcastle, Co. Meath.

The 10-12 mile (18-20 km) obstacle course is designed to test physical strength and mental grit of fitness enthusiasts all over the world, with over one million people having participated in Tough Mudder events across the globe to date.

After thrilling 5,000 participants at its debut event last year, Tough Mudder Dublin promises to haunt anyone who has skipped their training.

Set very near one of Ireland's and the world's oldest cemeteries, the Loughcrew Cairns, this course is packed with variety – including all new obstacles set amongst thick mud, rolling hills and deep woods.

For 2015, expect brand new obstacles that are designed to test both physical and mental strength.

An all-new 'Fruit Shoots Mini Mudder' course has also been designed for children ages 7-12, The Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder (FSMM) obstacle courses will encourage them to focuson trying new things, building friendships and working as a team.
