Sponsored Feature: Get the celebrity look with new GW styles

Guys and girls can now emulate their favourite celeb specs looks as TV style guru Gok Wan adds 13 new styles to his fabulously popular GW by Gok Wan glasses range.

Designed personally by Gok and exclusive to Specsavers, the new specs build on the retro-inspired look of the original GW by Gok Wan range, launched in February last year.

We showcase here how you can use glasses from his new range to emulate the style of your favourite specs-wearing celebrity.

GW 54 – Katy Perry

Retro-queen Katy Perry harks back to JFK’s early 60’s Americana with these statement browline specs. The flattering tortoiseshell colour balances out the masculine feel of the gold metal rim detail, ensuring Katy isn’t one of the boys. Round faces with brown hair and dark features should try this shape.

GW 52 – Jennifer Aniston

Icon of effortless casual-cool, Jennifer Aniston gives her image a Friend-lier touch with this subtle cat’s eye shape, whose elongated corners exude femininity. GW 52’s espresso brown colour will flatter most skin tones.

GW 56 – Anne Hathaway

Ever the fashion chameleon, American actress Anne Hathaway has taken cues from her One Day character and opted for specs to give an edgier look. The brown tortoiseshell GW 56 frames, with inner flashes of azure blue, will suit slightly smaller faces while the curved frame will enhance those all-important brows.

GW 60 – Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn, the ultimate movie icon, always knew how to make an impact - especially with these standout cat’s eye specs. For a more subtle take on the look, try GW 60 in gorgeous nut-brown tortoiseshell. The splash of pink on the inner arms adds a touch of femininity to these specs, which suits smaller face shapes.

GW 62 – Chloë Sevigny

Über-cool designer actress and fashionista Chloë Sevigny is never afraid to rock a bold look, even if it involves a more masculine style. These retro-style, two-tone black and crystal clear plastic frames will suit women working the androgynous look. Or for the smart man-about-town, the metal detail on the arms will complement their look perfectly.

GW 63 – Justin Timberlake

Superstar Justin brings specsy back, sporting a set of deep, square frames. To get a statement look like this try GW 63. As well as the strong shape, the arm detail mixes matte and metal for an opulent look that will guarantee serious impact.
