Yes, it's jingle all the way to BT, then to Belfast's market

Here at the Pleasure List we feel it's never too early to start the Christmas preparations. Often, by the time December 24 rolls around there are no wreaths, baubles or fairy lights to be found. Brown Thomas's Dublin store is leading the pack and opened its Christmas shop way back when on August 23. Travel the escalator to the top floor, follow the scent of cinnamon and discover bejewelled baubles and diamond encrusted stars. In other Christmas-related affairs, Belfast's market is set to be the market du jour this silly season. It, too, gets in there early and opens on November 16. It's to be found in the City Hall gardens, when they're transformed into a continental market. www.brownthomas.com
