Whispers from the Gastronomicon
The emergence of new tapas restaurants shows no sign of abating. Another has opened in Dublin's South William Street.
Zaragoza is a big space, seating 130, and the menu looks interesting. It includes poached lobster with garden beetroot, Russian salad and quail egg for €11.95, or crispy raclette cheese and walnuts-stuffed medjool dates wrapped in bacon for €8.50.
With Christmas approaching, you may be hosting a dinner or two. Alix Gardner is offering a two-night, hands-on Christmas canape course on December 11 and 18 for €130. See dublincookery.com
