Take on the Taste Trail

Are you a foodie in need of a great culinary event? Then tease your tastebuds with this -- the 7th annual Dingle Peninsula Food Festival is running from October 4-6.

And you better start training now because one of the festival's most popular events is its Taste Trail, an impressive gourmet safari that takes in more than 70 establishments.

Here's a taste of what's in store: local artist Liam O'Neill and Derry Clarke will offer tastings of traditional Dingle Pie in O'Neill's gallery; there will be a Tindalls Tutored Wine Tasting with Ted Browne's crabmeat (with live music) at The Dingle Bay Hotel, and, taking centre stage, the winners of the Blas na hEireann National Irish Food Awards will be announced on October 5.
