THERE she is – looking like the cat that got the cream, though of course the gorgeous Sunday Independent healthy food columnist Susan Jane White doesn't touch the stuff.

Susan Jane would be more like the cat that got the almond milk.

For years her popular Eats Shoots and Leaves column in the Sunday Independent Life magazine has let us in on many of the culinary secrets to looking and feeling (nearly) as good as she does through healthy, but by no means sinless, eating.

Earlier this year saw the release of her acclaimed first book The Extra Virgin Kitchen, published by Gill & Macmillan.

The Extra Virgin Kitchen – despite the title – is definitely putting the sexy into healthy eating with recipes like Kate Moss Quinoa and F%*k Me Salad.

Catch Susan Jane's talk, How to be Well, offering nutritional and mental health advice in Urbun Café, Cabinteely on Wednesday, May 21.

She will be speaking along with Professor Jim Lucey.

Tickets for Susan Jane's talk must be booked at www.gillmacmillanbooks.ie.

Susan Jane will also be speaking at The Dalkey Book Festival this June 20 to 22, in Co Dublin.

You can expect some sinful but saintly treats too.
