Side orders with model Sarah Morrissey
The model on her favourite foods and her guilty pleasure.
Do you do breakfast?
I always wake up starving. I love to have scrambled or boiled eggs with smoked salmon first thing.
Roast chicken, with honey roasted parsnips and sweet potato.
Favourite take-out meal:
I'm not a huge fan of take-out to be honest, but when I do, I get stir fried vegetables from Neon, on Camden St.
Darwin's, Aungier St. They have the best steaks in Dublin. I love the cocktail area, it's great for a drink before dinner.
Red or white?
Red. I like Marquis de Riscal. My hubby introduced me to it this year on holidays and I haven't looked back since.
Any type of chicken. It's such an easy option for an on-the-go snack. I always bring my own food to shoots, I find it's the best choice for keeping me full.
Chocolate - the darker the better.
Broccoli - quick and easy. I love to eat it raw, it's great for vitamin B.
Consider yourself a picky eater?
I never considered myself a picky eater until I started talking to other people about food choices, and apparently I am! I love plain food so I usually have to get the sauce on the side.
What's always in your fridge:
Eggs, hummus, chicken, vegetables, grapes and chocolate. I always stock up on Sundays and prep my meals for the week. It's easier to make healthy choices if everything is prepared.
Favourite spud style:
I must be the only Irish person who doesn't eat potatoes. I just don't like the taste - apart from the odd chip, of course!
Death row meal:
For starter: an antipasto platter. Main: a nice fillet steak with spinach and chips. Dessert: This is tough but I'd have to go for a red velvet cheesecake.
Dream dinner guests:
Ricky Gervais because he is hilarious, Christian Dior because I'd love to pick his brains about the time he spent in Italy, and Oprah.
Favourite dinner your mum used to make you:
Stew! She still makes it every Wednesday and sends a pot to me and each of my sisters' houses.
Go-to comfort food:
A cup of peppermint tea and dark chocolate digestives.
