Five Spice Salmon and Hoisin glaze
A dish to boost your brain power during exams...
Hoisin sauce is a traditional Chinese BBQ sauce and is an essential Pantry Pal.
It is a mixture of soy sauce, garlic, spices and molasses. The thick, sticky, aromatic sauce is delicious when used as a marinade or glaze. It has a unique flavour and can be combined with other sauces and spices and used in stir-fries, dipping sauces and dressings. It has quite a long shelf life, but once opened, I prefer to store mine in the fridge.
Brands vary greatly, so choose a good quality one.
