New cafe should inspire chain reaction
At last, two great loves (bikes and cakes) combined in one very cool cafe! It's rare that an inconvenient back wheel blowout on the bicycle is something to smile about, but lately bike malfunctions have become a great excuse to visit the brilliant Rothar Cafe on Fade St, Dublin.
Bring your dishevelled rothar here and Anne will have it fixed in just about the time it takes for Steve to console you with a lovely slice of cake (homemade by Karyna) and some excellent coffee. Also on the menu are delicious soups and sambos, full bike service, bike accessories, open-mic nights on Thursdays from 7pm, and some clever interior design ideas utilising old bike parts. One cyclist we know has been deliberately cycling through broken glass since her first visit and has been back so often they may begin to suspect her of suffering from Munchausen's by bike.
