Get a taste of the top food producers
Sheridan's Cheesemongers will host its fifth food festival on Sunday May 25 at the company's Virginia Road Station headquarters in Pottlereagh, Co Meath.
Sheridan's promises a huge array of top food producers who will be selling, sampling and talking about their foods. The criteria for the stalls here are that the food is made in Ireland, is of great quality and that the people behind the stalls are the people who made the food.
There will be workshops by Richard Corrigan of the new Park House Hotel, Virginia; Ross Lewis of Chapter One and Michelin-starred chef Enda McEvoy, who is poised to open his new restaurant in Galway called Loam.
Spicemaster Arun Kapil will be there, as will Ed Hick who will be giving a children's sausage-making demo, and Quinlan Steele of Milleens Cheese who will be giving a cheesemaking demo.
