Four delicious things to do during ‘Dine in Dublin’ festival

Dine in Dublin returns for 2015, bringing with it a feast of culinary delights in some of the capital’s most loved eateries.

Over 50 city centre restaurants are involved in this year’s festival, meaning there will be something to suit every palate, dietary requirement and budget.

This year’s festival line up is bigger and bolder than ever, with each restaurant involved serving up something refreshing to celebrate Dine in Dublin 20015 in true culinary style.

Here are four things sure to tickle your fancy:

1. Zaragoza Jazz Drunch

On Saturday 21st of February from 12-5pm.

Zaragoza will host a Jazz Drunch to the sound of Lisa Jameson and her mesmerising Jazz Band. Guests will enjoy an irresistible Spanish Drunch tasting menu including the signature Zaragoza paella. Attendees will enjoy a five course tasting platter along with a glass of Cava for €20 with signature paella dishes for only €5.

2. Saba Whiskey Tasting Event

Monday, 23rd February, from 5.30pm - 6.15pm.

Asian hotspot Saba will hold a whiskey tasting hosted by Conor McCrohan from Dalcassian wines. Starting off with a brief history of Whiskey in both Ireland and abroad, Conor will chat through the history of various whiskeys provided by Walsh Whiskey Distillery. Guests will enjoy a selection of six of the highest quality whiskeys along with delicious Saba nibbles on the night.

This event is now sold out but Saba will be running a twitter competition for two final tickets on Thursday 19th February @SabaDublin

3. Gotham Café Craft Beer Night

Monday, 23rd February, from 7pm.

What better way to spend a Monday night than soaking up delicious pizza slices from Dublin’s favourite pizza joint, Gotham Café, with some of the best craft beers that Ireland has to offer.

Foodies can enjoy a craft beer tasting night hosted by Cameron Wallace of Cork’s Eight Degrees Brewery, who will talk guests through a tasting session of some of his more popular brews.

4. Salamanca Sangria Tasting

Tuesday, 24th February, from 7pm.

Salamanca will play host to a mouth-watering sangria tasting. Diners on the night will each enjoy samples of Salamanca’s top four Sangrias, along with an explanation of each one and some tasty tapas.

Dine in Dublin 2015 exciting festival programme also boasts a host of bespoke events, including the Dine Pavilion, Gentleman’s Academy does Disco Brunch with Dine in Dublin, Wine & Dine in Dublin at Ely IFSC and special offers from over 50 participating restaurants.

Foodies will also have the opportunity to enjoy live chef demos from your favourite foodie authors thanks to in-store collaborations with Easons and Arnotts.

Commuters will also be surprised with pop-up cooking showcases that will take place on board the Luas at St. Stephens Green.
