Reviewing a restaurant during a pandemic means it's no longer just about the food, ambience and service; it now has the added dimension of how the restaurant is coping and complying with regulations, which does make me feel a bit like a health inspector, but it can't be ignored.

Restaurants are suffering badly because customers are nervous. They want to eat outside, so restaurants are scrambling to add al fresco facilities with any inch of space they can muster. People are not expecting The Ritz - they're happy on a bench in a yard, or streetside, just to meet their friends and have a bit of fun in safety.
