Twitter followers of The Happy Pear in Wicklow have been served up more than rumble-inducing food photos this summer.

They have also been treated to beachy snaps of the business’ dishy owners.

Twin brothers Stephen and David Flynn (34) have been sharing photos of themselves enjoying the summer sunshine in their togs, with the shimmering Irish Sea as a backdrop.

“I suppose it’s just swimming season! It definitely is not an intentional marketing campaign,” laughed Stephen Flynn, who set up The Happy Pear with his brother in 2004.

The Twitter eye candy includes topless photos of the two jogging along Bray head and various snaps of summer dips in their local Ladies’ Cove.

“The pictures are just taken as all pictures are. You know, you’re down on the beach and it’s a beautiful morning or you’re at the cove enjoying it with the kids,” said Stephen.

Single tweeters looking for more than the welcome seaside photos will be disappointed as the twins are both married, yet a fix can be found at one of their Happy Heart Courses, which can be taken both online and in store.

While creeping around Ladies’ Cove at dawn wouldn’t be advisable, you might just catch a glimpse during a busy weekend brunch.

After all, The Happy Pear is only a DART away.
