Man vs Food’s Adam Richman poses in the nip after losing 5 stone

The former competitive eater has ditched the burgers in favour of a buff bod.

Notorious glutton Adam Richman of Man vs Food fame has stripped down to reveal his buff new body after a dramatic 5 stone weight loss.

The former competitive eater poses in the nip in July’s issue of Cosmopolitian UK, leaving little to the imagination with just a soccer ball between him and total exposure.

Richman, who spent years chugging down massive feasts on the Travel Channel’s hit show, revealed how proud he is of his achievement.

"To go from hating the way I looked to being a Cosmo centerfold is a profound honor.

“If you're a guy who's always been the fun-to-be-around teddy bear, then all of a sudden people are viewing you as sexy, it's nice.

"It's great not having to be the plucky best friend, or the comic relief anymore—I love that. Who wouldn't rather hear, "Wow, you look great," than, "Ewww," he said.

The star revealed that a severe lack of action in the bedroom and health concerns spurred him to shed the pounds and now eats 150 calorie meals every two hours throughout the day.

Despite how unhappy his weight made him, Richman said he does not regret the years he spent on Man vs Food.

"When I watch old episodes , I see my doughy face. But I'm not filled with regret,

"Man v. Food was the biggest career-defining opportunity. I went from anonymity to someone of note with access to amazing eateries," he said.

The raunchy shoot aimed to raise awareness for Cancer Research UK.
