If walking along the beach with a coffee and toastie in hand is your idea of heaven, you'll want to visit this new Dublin cafe.

Happy Out opened on Bull Island just two weeks ago, and already it has become a firm favourite with locals.

Serving toasties, Roasted Brown coffee, hot drinks and baked treats, the cafe with a difference operates from a shipping container and features a decking area for customers to relax and enjoy the sea views.

The toasties are to-die-for, with brilliant names (such as Clucking Unbelievable) and gluten-free bread available for coeliacs.

The cafe is run by uncle and nephew Karl McCullagh and Brian Hanratty, who set up shop after craving a coffee and a bite to eat after swimming and golfing on the island.

With a few weeks of summer left and autumn fast approaching, we can't imagine anything better than chowing down on a three-cheese toastie with a cuppa coffee in hand to warm up after the cold walk out.

Pop down Monday to Sunday from 9am to 7pm (roughly) with toasties being served from 10:30am.
