Emma Thompson and a host of celebrities have stripped naked and posed with dead fish as part of a campaign against overfishing.
The celebrities have lent their naked bodies to the Fishlove campaign in order to raise awareness of unsustainable fishing practices and the destruction of the marine environment.
Emma Thompson (56) and her husband Greg Wise lead the photoshoot as they preserve their modesty with two Black Scabbard fish from Portugal.
Speaking about the campaign, the couple said: "You do feel a little guilty holding a huge dead fish while you are very much alive, but by doing this Fishlove portrait with a deep-sea Black Scabbard fish we want to make clear the message: if we don’t end the overfishing and pollution of the ocean, all these beautiful creatures are threatened."
They added: "In particular, deep-sea fishing is unsustainable, unnecessary and should stop"
Other stars who took part in the campaign included Mark Rylance, Dougray Scott and Miriam Margolyes.
The Fishlove campaign hopes to discourage destructive fishing practices and encourage people to stop eating overfished species such as cod and instead turn to lesser-known fish such as sprats, gurnard
Leading London seafood restaurant, J Sheekey Oyster Bar, endorsed Fishlove by commissioning the series of photographs taken by photographer Jillian Edelstein.
Just to note, the fish in the photos are dead but that's because they were destined for the great big freezer in the sky anyway.
