From Thursday April 13 to Monday April 17, Saba and Saba To Go will be ringing in ‘Songkran’ or Thai New Year.

To celebrate the New Year in style, Saba will be offering a dedicated Thai New Year menu created by head chef Tao.

The four-person menu (€38.95 pp) will include delicious starters such as Thod Man Pla, minced fish cakes with green beans in a red curry paste and kaffir lime leaves, with Thai sweet basil. Main courses include Goong Maeman Kratiem Prik Thai, stir fried blue river prawns with garlic, pepper and broccoli, a recipe handed down to Tao from his mum.

The Thai New Year menu, created by head chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana, stays true to the values of Thai New Year, a celebration of family and sharing with a focus on traditional Thai dishes using fresh, healthy ingredients and rich authentic flavours.
