Food lovers from all across Ireland will flock to the Iveagh Gardens this June. The attraction? The ultimate alfresco feast – Taste of Dublin. Come and tuck in this week from June 11 to 14.

Foodies are getting ready to head to the Iveagh Gardens this week for the country’s most exciting food event. The ultimate alfresco feast - Taste of Dublin Food Festival - is back and it is celebrating its 10th birthday!

A dazzling mix of top chefs, mouth-watering food and delicious drinks all combine to make Taste of Dublin, starting on Thursday, an unforgettable event.

The festival is a one-stop shop for all foodie fanatics looking to excite their taste buds with taster plates from a melting pot of cuisines from over 100 artisan producers.

Over the following six pages, we will give you a taste of Taste: from the lowdown on the world-class chefs and superb dishes to the family-fun events and the new attractions this year.

Fascinating one-to-one Q&A sessions and live interactive cooking demos with Michelin-starred chefs are a must for those looking for tips for their own cooking – or just those who want to see some of the world’s greatest chefs at the top of their game.

For the first time ever, 10 Michelin Stars will be among the international and local culinary talent delighting guests with tantalising treats. Michelin-starred chefs showcasing their talents include Derry Clarke, Oliver Dunne, Ross Lewis, Richard Corrigan, Kevin Thornton and Michel Roux Jr.

Other household names serving up sumptuous cuisine include Clodagh McKenna, Rachel Allen, Neven Maguire, TV3’s Edward Hayden, Kevin Dundon and Sunil Ghai - Ireland’s leading Indian chef. (See full list opposite)

Taste also celebrates Dublin’s hottest restaurants and this year sees an amazing calibre of establishments showcasing their offerings including Banyi, Brioche, Beeftro, Chapter One, China Sichaun, Diep Le Shaker, East Side Tavern, Jaipur, Marcels, Pichet, Rock Lobster, Saba, The Chop House, Matt the Thresher, The Green Hen, and The Hot Stove.

Returning this year is the interactive Electrolux Taste Theatre which will host an array of world-class chefs showcasing their culinary skills. The Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets will be offering visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with culinary legends in an interactive cooking demonstration.

Over the last ten years, Taste of Dublin has been at the forefront of the capital’s food revolution; showcasing innovation, new chefs, producers and the restaurants that make up Dublin’s vibrant culinary scene. It also remains committed to displaying the best of the Irish food industry, nurturing the amazing talent and produce we have nationwide.

Taste of Dublin 2015 promises to be the most mouth-watering and exciting event we’ve ever hosted and we look forward to welcoming you to it at the Iveagh Gardens on June 11-14.

Chefs to watch out for

Multi-award winning Irish chef Richard Corrigan has been presented with the Taste Icon Award 2015. The award, given to mark ‘10 Years of Taste’, was presented, in association with Waterford Crystal Lismore Connoisseur Collection, at the official launch of Taste of Dublin 2015 in Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud.
