Sile Seoige has revealed how she would love to add to her family eventually, but is content with baby Cathal (5 months) for now.

The broadcaster and yoga enthusiast has said that the whole issue was a “sensitive” one for many woman, but it’s an idea that she and partner Damien O’Farrell are open to.

“Being a mammy now and absolutely being over the moon, if we were lucky enough in the future, it would be amazing,” she said.

“But I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason. So who knows what’s around the corner, who knows?”

She said that if someone had told her how her life would turn out while she was in the middle of her treatment for thyroid cancer, she would never have believed them.

She was diagnosed with the disease in 2011 and after going through a series of intense treatments, successfully fought it before being given the five-year all-clear in January 2017.

“I feel incredibly lucky,” she told the Diary.

Sile and baby Cathal were launching Aldi’s Baby and Toddler event taking place in 130 stores nationwide from Thursday January 18.
