Danielle Lloyd tells of baby ordeal
Model Danielle Lloyd has revealed the "terrifying moment" that she went into hospital to discover her premature baby had pulled out his ventilator.
Harry was born 10 weeks early, weighing just 4lb 4oz, after the model collapsed with stomach pains.
A brain scan will reveal whether there has been any lasting damage as a result of the premature birth.
Lloyd, 27, told OK! magazine the ordeal did not end after Harry was born suddenly in July.
She said: "I went to see him in hospital one day to find that he'd pulled his ventilator out and his life support had switched off.
"His breathing was really heavy and there was no oxygen going to his brain and it could've caused brain damage.
"His skin was also discoloured and he was put back on the life support. It was the most terrifying moment of my life and I just sobbed my heart out."
Harry was put on a life support machine because it was discovered that he had a hole in his heart and that not enough oxygen was getting to his brain.
Lloyd, who is also mother to one-year-old Archie with footballer fiance Jamie O'Hara, said Harry will develop normally "but it'll take him longer".
She told the magazine: "He's on medication and vitamins every day so we just have to take each day as it comes. He has to go for a brain scan to see if there has been any lasting damage."
