One Dublin mother and her two-year-old daughter have shot to fame on social media thanks to their uplifting sense of fashion.

Little Hollie Lawlor models with her mother Pamela on the Facebook page Tu-tu Belle and the Instagram account @along_came_hollie.

Hollie will turn three this month and she can already identify leading fashion labels like Chanel, which she discovered when she learned her ABCs.

Their popularity on social media happened by accident, Pamela told Independent.ie today.

“I love clothes and fashion. I don’t work in fashion but I just have a passion for it. When Hollie came along, I’d have a hat or matching hairband for every outfit, and I started the hairbands and tutus because I couldn’t find them in the shops.”

“People would see them and ask me where I got them, and I started making them, and it became a business when I was on maternity leave. And Hollie was the model for the clothes.”

Pamela says their following online, particularly on Instagram, is overwhelmingly positive.

“It is a very positive response I’m getting. A couple of people were negative when I shared a video on Facebook where she was naming a designer brand and looking at the symbol, and people were saying 'why are you teaching her useless information?'. But I’d very rarely get negative feedback on my page, or on Instagram. Instagram is the place that people would be very positive.”

Hollie often picks her own outfits to wear, Pamela says, and one of her favourite shops is Penneys.

“She asks me every day, can we have a photoshoot?,” a proud Pamela says.
