A wish come true

Celebrity chef Catherine Fulvio has joined forces with Fairy to launch the latest campaign to encourage the whole nation to help grant the wishes of children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

For the eighth year running, Fairy is supporting Make-aWish Ireland and aims to help Make-a-wish grant even more magical wishes to children and young people living with life-threatening illnesses this winter.

The charity offers optimism and a positive experience for the child, their family, supporters and the entire community.

Lydia was one of the Make-a-wish children helping Catherine launch the fundraising campaign.

She is four years old and was diagnosed in 2009 with neuroblastoma, which is a very rare childhood cancer. When Make-a-wish visited Lydia, she had a very special person she wanted to meet – Santa Claus!

Lydia got her wish and her family were flown to meet Santa at home in Lapland.

This winter, we can all help to grant the wishes of children like Lydia. Simply look out for special packs of Fairy washing-up liquids and dishwasher tablets in stores or visit www.facebook.com/fairydish.

For each person who likes the Facebook page, Fairy will make a donation to Make-a-wish. For further information on Fairy's ongoing support of Make-a-wish, visit www.makeawish.ie
