This is the heartwarming moment a little boy helps his four-year-old friend to overcome her fear of rabbits.

Tomas (4) helps his friend Ava, who has Down Syndrome, to overcome her fear when he explains that they don't eat humans.

"They only eat carrots and carrot cake," he told her as he held up a rabbit teddy bear.

Reassured, Ada runs over to pet a live rabbit in their play room.

The pair of best friends were filmed together on Channel 4's Secret Life Of 4 Year Olds.

Ada says of Tomas: "He's very cute."
