The 'For Her' gift guide
Our edit is sure to make even the pickiest people smile, writes Meadhbh McGrath
Men may get all the grief about being hard to buy for, but women can be pretty tricky too. She may say she's happy with anything - but that's not to say just anything will do. Some women like leopard print, some women like to cook, some women like to dance around their room with Bruce Springsteen at full volume, some women like all of those things and none of them.
If you've got someone picky in your life, you have a few options: get them a charitable gift (that should silence any requests for a gift receipt), take the unimaginative yet reliable gift card route, or try to visualise a problem or need that your person has and what may help them. Are they struggling to sleep? Consider a luxurious eye mask. Going through a breakup? A book offering meditations on love, loss and desire. Lamenting the death of photo albums? Try a Fujifilm printer - which prints in squares for those Instagram snaps - and encourage them to build one of their own. Or maybe they could do with a little glamour in their lives? Mulberry is one of the rare brands that appeals to all ages and personalities, and its bags are a delicious little treat (especially if you can pick one up at a discount).
