Youth quizzed over stabbing of teenager is released
A juvenile arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of talented boxer Reece Cullen was released without charge last night.
Gardaí confirmed the youth was arrested in the Tallaght area at 7am yesterday.
He was released without charge later yesterday after being questioned. A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Reece Cullen (16) died on January 5, 2017, after he was attacked near his Dublin home.
The schoolboy, of Bawnlea Crescent, Jobstown, was rushed to Tallaght Hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries. A post-mortem examination determined Reece suffered one stab wound to the heart when he was attacked.
