Young man (25) dies suddenly outside nightclub

Police are investigating the sudden death of a 25-year-old man at the weekend.

Conall Kerrigan was discovered in the area of Bank Place of Derry on Sunday August 23 at around 10.20am.

It is believed Conall had been in the Metro Bar on Saturday evening and left at around 2am on Sunday morning.

Detective Inspector Conor McStravick is appealing for anyone who saw Conall after he left the Metro bar or anyone who witnessed any form of altercation on the walls close to Millennium Forum during the early hours of Sunday morning to contact detectives in Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.
