ONE woman was hospitalised after a truck collided with a Luas tram in Dublin city’s rush hour this morning.

The incident happened at around 8.15am on the Green Line at the junction of Harcourt Street and Cuffe Street.

There was minor damage to the truck and tram, but Luas services were affected while the incident was being investigated and the truck removed.

Trams were only running from Brides Glen to Beechwood due to incident at Harcourt Street, Luas reported.

It is believed the woman’s injuries are not serious.

The cause of the crash was being investigated today.
