Wicklow farmer leaves €2.5m in will

A Co Wicklow farmer, William Burns, of Avoca, who died on April 19, 2010, has left €2,409,464 in his will, which went to probate in Dublin last week.

Other wills: Catherine E Tracey, housewife, Lawnswood Park, Stillorgan, Co Dublin, €2,002,619; Michael Wall, farmer, Bray, Athy, Co Kildare, €1,839,126; James Oliver Purcell, engineer of Eglinton Road, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, €1,519,523; Anthony McKnight, Highfield Park, Leixlip, Co Kildare, €1,407,278; and Thomas Napoleon Keating, doctor, St Margarets, Co Dublin, €1,257,859.

The value of wills includes property, including the family home, and should not be regarded as cash amounts
