Footage recorded at the height of Storm Emma shows "everybody breaking the traffic laws" - and a near collision between a taxi and a cyclist.

The footage, recorded Friday evening in front of Dublin's City Hall, shows several people on the move in different vehicles and in snowy conditions.

Krzysztof Calka recorded the video on his way home on March 2, at around 8pm on Parliament Street.

"In my opinion everybody was wrong," Krzysztof told Independent.ie.

"It starts with a mini van turning left on the red light. Then the taxi made a U-turn on the junction and the cyclist starting entering the junction on the red light also.

"Lastly, I had a green light for going right on the junction, this means that the pedestrian crossing in front of me had a red light. So she was wrong also.

"Which means that everybody on this film was breaking the traffic laws."

This isn't the first time a cyclist and taxi collided in this area;
