Warning over airport parking
HOLIDAYMAKERS taking weekend trips will be forced to give themselves an extra 20 minutes to get their flight from next month.
That's because the Dublin Airport Authority is refurbishing the car park in Terminal One which will result in the loss of 400 spaces for July and August.
However, a spokesperson said the works should have little effect on passengers, few of whom used the short-term car park.
"We are refurbishing the car park because it needs an upgrade and a few repairs," she said. "We're only withdrawing 400 spaces."
"It's mostly business people who use the car park and there's less of those travelling during July and August.
"The pricing structure is designed not to encourage long-term users," he said.
