Stars of the video gaming world are set to descend on Dublin's Convention Centre for PlayersXpo 2017 - Ireland's ultimate gaming event.

YouTube superstars Slogoman, Jelly and IamSanna will make their first ever Irish appearance - joined by the godfather of gaming John Romero, who will take part in a gaming 'death-match' battle.

Eimear Noone, the 'Irish queen of video games music', and a host of special guests will be on the PX2017 main stage, where the audience will enjoy a series of interactive panel discussions, open Q&A sessions and roof-raising performances.

The event at the Convention Centre next weekend has been extended to include two six-hour sessions each day (9am to 3pm, and 4pm to 10pm).

A limited number of tickets are still available as fans from all over the country are set to flock to Dublin to meet their heroes and get hands-on with some of this year's most anticipated video games.

Fans are encouraged to book their tickets on to avoid disappointment.
