Two women arrested after man stabbed in Dublin city centre

GARDAI are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Dublin city centre last night.

The 37-year-old was stabbed at approximately 9.50pm at the junction of Aston Quay and Price's Lane.

He was taken by ambulance to St. James’s Hospital. His injuries are no believed to be life threatening.

"Two  females aged in their 30s were arrested by investigating Gardai a short time later," a garda spokesman said. 

"They were detained a Pearse St. Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. "Both women have since been released without charge pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions."
