Two people injured in four-car collision on M50

Two people were injured in a four-car collision on the M50 southbound this morning.

The two people have been taken to hospital and it is understood that there injuries are not serious.

The accident occurred on the M50 southbound between Junctions 4 (Ballymun) and 5 (Finglas).

The two outermost right-hand lanes were blocked for a period this morning, but the collision has now been cleared and no further delays are expected.

Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene with three fire engines and an emergency tender with a senior officer.
