An arson attack at family home in Coleraine, Northern Ireland is being treated as attempted murder.
Two adults and two children were in their Rinvarna Court home when a blaze took hold.
It happened at around 9.45pm on Sunday night.
Two had to be rescued with the help of passers-by.
All four were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Detective chief inspector Catherine Magee said: "Substantial damage was caused to a door and the front of the property.
"This is a very serious incident and we are extremely lucky we are not investigating the death of a young family."
