TWO brothers have been charged in connection with the murder of Ger McMahan in Limerick last week.
Sean Flanagan (26), with an address at Lenihan Avenenue in Limerick, was charged with the murder of Mr McMahon on January 18.
His brother Ian (22), of the same address, was charged with impeding the murder investigation on the same date.
Both were granted free legal aid and remanded in custody until next Tuesday, when a bail application will be made for the younger brother.
Mr McMahon died from stab wounds.
He was found badly injured outside a house in Ballinacurra Weston.
