Two arrested after €100,000 uncovered by drugs gardai reporters

Two men have been arrested in connection with money laundering - after an estimated €100,000 was uncovered in Dublin.

The money was found when Gardai searched a car in the capital’s western suburbs last night.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was arrested by the National Drugs Unit at the scene.

A second man, in his 60s, was held during a follow-up operation in Co.Kildare.

The men were being held at Blanchardstown, on suspicion of money laundering
