Brave double-lung transplant recipient David Crosby returned home to a rapturous welcome after completing the New York City Marathon. The 42-year-old from Meath admitted he was tired but was all smiles as he was greeted on his return. Last year, the father-of-three successfully underwent a double-lung transplant at Dublin's Mater Hospital. David took on the challenge in memory of three of his siblings who passed away from lung disease and the donor that gave him another chance at life. This was his first marathon and he completed it in six hours, 15 minutes, 31 seconds.
