Traffic restrictions

Severe restrictions in the Merrion Square, Nassau Street, and St Stephen's Green areas of the city. Motorists travelling to RDS from the north or west of the city should use the East Link toll bridge and Strand Road or the M50/N11. Traffic coming from the south advised to use N11 and Ailesbury Road.

South Quays/North Quays: Race crosses Liffey at O'Connell Bridge. Delays on South Quays from 8.45am to 9.45am.

Rock Road: Traffic accessing city centre diverted at Merrion Gates or up onto the N11.

M1: Traffic to city centre from M1 diverted down Upper Gardiner Street when it reaches Dorset Street from 8.30am to 9.45am.

N2: Traffic on the N2 towards city centre to use M50/N4 due to restrictions in Phibsborough from 8.30am to 10.30am.

N3: Traffic on the N3 diverted away from the North Circular Road. Traffic using N3 for city centre to use M50/N4 from 8.45am to 10.30am.

N4: Open all day. However, traffic using N4 to access the city centre will be delayed on North Quays at O'Connell Bridge from 8.45am to 9.45am.

N7: Traffic on N7 to use M50/N4 to access city centre due to restrictions in Inchicore and Dolphin's Barn from 9.00am to 12.30pm.

N11: The N11 is unaffected except for the slip roads onto and off the Belfield flyover as the runners go from Fosters Avenue to Nutley Lane.

N81: Bus access only. Other traffic will be diverted away from Templeogue Road between 9.30am to 13.30pm.
