Traffic chaos in city centre following three-car collision

Commuters in Dublin are battling with heavy traffic this morning following a multiple car crash in the city centre.

A car collision involving three cars occurred just before 8am on Pearse Street at the canal. The crash occurred on the outbound side of the road.

The cars have now been removed from the area, AA Roadwatch reports, but it is still very slow on approach.

Drivers are being advised to use an alternative route if possible.

Furthermore, traffic lights are malfunctioning on Wexford Street inbound at the junction of Cuffe Street.
