Three quizzed over gangland murder

Two men and a woman were arrested today over the gangland shooting of a major crime boss in a pub.

Two handguns and cocaine with an estimated street value of €70,000 were also seized during raids by detectives investigating the murder of Eamon Dunne at the Fassaugh House in Cabra on April 24.

Officers searched properties in Dublin city centre, Blanchardstown and Bettystown, Co Meath.

Gardai confirmed that three people, all in their late 20s, were arrested and are being detained in separate garda stations.

One man was arrested in Blanchardstown, while the second man and the woman were arrested in Dublin city centre.

The two men are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 while the woman is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939.
