Three more constituencies report 'no' majorities

Three more constituencies have reported 'no' majorities as counting continues following yesterday's Lisbon Treaty referendum.

Fifty-seven per cent of voters in Sligo-North Leitrim have rejected the treaty, while just over 50% in Tipperary North and 53% in Tipperary South have voted 'no'.

Earlier today, Waterford reported a 54% vote for the 'no' camp and 46% for the 'yes' side.

Tallies from elsewhere in the country suggest that the result will be replicated nationwide.

Some elements of the 'no' campaign are already claiming victory, while a number of politicians on the 'yes' side have been extremely pessimistic about the outcome.
