Three men stabbed in altercation in Limerick pub

Three men sustained stab wounds during an altercation in a County Limerick pub last night.

Gardaí were called to the scene at a pub on Wolfe Tone Street in Kilmallock, Co Limerick at approximately 8pm.

The three men, all aged in thirties, were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.

Gardaí confirmed their injuries are described as non life-threatening.

A 24-year-old man was arrested a short time after the incident.

He is currently detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Bruff Garda Station. 

A knife was also recovered by investigating gardaí and an examination of the crime scene has been carried out.
