The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray

However, the balmy weather that sent temperatures soaring to 20C yesterday is not expected to return for a while. "The next few days won't be as good as it has been," said Met Eireann's John Eagleton. But the outlook for the May bank holiday weekend is promising, with temperatures to rise to a pleasant 12C-15C across much of the country.
