The latest spate of attacks on former Quinn Group companies ...

December 11, 2013:

Stolen oil tanker rammed into a former Quinn Group headquarters now occupied by Aventas in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh. Two men reversed the tanker three times into the front of the building, then set it alight and fled in a getaway car.

December 31, 2013:

Attempt to damage fibre-optic cables at headquarters

January 7, 2014:

A 52-seater coach is abandoned at the entrance to the Quinn Therm business in Ballyconnell and set alight. A sign on the bus contains a chilling warning directed at Aventas chief executive: “Paul O'Brien: Disaster Tours, Leaving Soon.”

January 22: 

Two British Telecom cabinets demolished and firebombed in Derrylin, disrupting communications at the headquarters.

February 9:

Three separate attacks on Lagan Group premises, a Northern Ireland construction firm eyeing up Quinn companies, including Quinn Roof Tiles.

• Break-in at Lagan Asphalt Company in Carrigtwohill in Cork and loading shovel set alight, causing damage worth €100,000.

• Break-in at the Lagan-owned Ballystockart quarry, Comber, Co Down; a digger and two dumpster trucks worth approximately €900,000 destroyed by fire.

• Lagan-owned property in Lisburn daubed with graffiti warning “stay out of Co Fermanagh” and “hands off Quinn”.

March 5:

Arson attack at Quinn Glass factory in Derrylin, Co Fermanagh. Generator set alight by intruders, causing serious damage.

March 6:

Tarmac spreader owned by a Quinn company destroyed in an arson attack in broad daylight at Donagh, in Co Fermanagh.

March 13: 

Two men in balaclavas drive a jeep filled with tyres to the entrance of  Quinn Packaging in Ballyconnell and set it alight.

March 27: 

Death threat letter sent to Kevin Lagan, Lagan Group chief executive, on the same day his wife diesand pulls plug on deal to buy Quinn Roof Tiles.

March 28: 

Petrol bomb attack on CEVA, a transport company in Little Island, Cork, recently contracted by Aventas.  Transit van filled with flammable substances rammed into entrance gates and set alight. CEVA pulls out of deal with Aventas on April 1.

April 4: 

Mobile crane owned by the former Quinn Group destroyed by arsonists at site of new school building in Ballinamore, Co Leitrim.

April 6: 

Two excavators destroyed and a third damaged in an arson attack in Quinn quarry in Kinawley, Co Fermanagh.

April 15: 

Anonymous caller phones in bomb threat at Quinn Glass in Derrylin, prompting security alert that shuts down plant for several hours.
