The current GOAL Board members
The board members contacted by the Irish Independent last night declined to comment citing legal issues. They are:
James Henry Casey: Accountant is a co-founder of GOAL.
Tom Reddy (53): PR guru is a former journalist with the Irish Press group and Independent Newspapers. Tom was head of press and research for Fianna Fail before working for two years as a ministerial advisor.
Hugh O'Flaherty (46): A practising barrister.
Gregory Curry (65): Has more than 35 years' experience in developing a broad range of projects for government agencies, private companies and sectoral groups.
Patrick O'Mahony (67): One-time head of AIB's entire branch network, he is the director of Ark Life Insurance. Was appointed three times in a row to the chair of the Irish Medicines Board.
PJ Cunningham (56): Former deputy editor of the 'Sunday Tribune' and 'Evening Herald' and former sports editor of those papers and the Irish Independent. He is the current editor of the Irish Independent's 'Fit Magazine'.
Vincent Hogan: Chief sports features writer with the Irish Independent newspaper for the past 20 years.
Cliona Hartigan (35): From Wicklow, she has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland since 2002.
Brian McMahon (55): A solicitor based in Naas. He has been involved with GOAL for over 20 years.
Tim Dalton: Secretary General of the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform from 1993 to 2004.
