Teens held as €100,000 of heroin seized
TWO men are in custody after a cache of heroin worth more than €100,000 on the streets was discovered.
Garda at Kevin Street seized the drugs and arrested the two men, who are in their late teens, when they stopped and searched a taxi on the South Circular Road in Dublin yesterday afternoon.
The two men were passengers in the taxi.
Further searches in the south inner city uncovered another batch of heroin at a house. Both men are being held for questioning at Kevin Street Garda Station.
The total value of the heroin seized was estimated to be around €112,000.
