Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni went back to school in an effort to drum up more support for the "boys in green".

Trapattoni visited Macdara's Community School in Templeogue, Dublin, where he urged students to get behind the team when Ireland take on Austria in the World Cup qualifier match at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on March 26.

The match is on a Tuesday night, but, since it coincides with the mid-term break, the Football Association of Ireland is encouraging youngsters to attend the game as part of the FAI's "School's Out" offer.

Tickets for schoolchildren aged under 16 are available at just €10 each as part of the special promotion.

Family tickets are available from €80 for the game, while adult prices start at €35. Full details of the match and tickets are available on www.fai.ie.
