Taxi driver in a ‘serious’ condition after attack in Dublin
A TAXI driver has been seriously injured in an attack in Dublin city centre.
The 41-year-old driver was assaulted by a man on Pearse Street just after midnight.
A Garda spokesman said no arrests have been made.
The assault happened at 12.20am this morning near the junction of Erne Street.
Gardai said the taxi driver was taken to St James's Hospital where his condition was described as serious.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact gardai at Pearse Street.
